With the increase of smart phones over the last decade, consumers today are spending more time using the latest apps than ever before. It has become a way of life, whether paying bills, looking for a place to eat or making airline reservations. If you want it, there is usually, “an app for that.”
To give its customers more power on the go, Gulf Power Company has released a full-service app where you can pay or view your bill, find helpful energy efficiency tips or report a power outage at your home. If you are an Energy Select customer, you can use the app to program your Energy Select thermostat.
“Our app gives our customers the power to connect with us wherever they are, right on their phone,” said Natalie Smith, Gulf Power spokesperson. “It offers convenient access to the information our customers may need, right at their fingertips.”
There are three key areas on the home page of the app:
- Bill payment — customers can log into their account and view or pay their bill;
- Energy efficiency — get home saving energy tips, or check out our free Energy Checkup, and;
- Outage — gives you the ability to access our real-time outage map, report an outage or check on the status.
